NO FINAL OPTION

NO FINAL OPTION

Students who desired not to take the final have the opportunity to meet with the professor and discuss all of the readings, both required and optional, for the class. The meetings will be held on Monday afternoons. Students who select this option must be aware that they will meet one day a week for fifteen weeks and read eleven (11) books and discuss them with the instructor. Grades will be based upon the level of participation and the clear demonstration of a student’s knowledge of the readings. If you do not like to read and do not like to talk in a small group setting, then this option is not for you. At any time a student can take the final, if he/she selects this preference.

NO FINAL OPTION FOR MODERN WORLD CIVILIZATION SCHEDULE

Students interested in the no final option are advised that the meetings will take place in the Hornet’s Nest of the Student Union starting at 4:00 and running until 4:50. The table below is a list of the books and a schedule of events. Grades will be based upon the level of participation each student demonstrates at the class meetings. If you are shy, do like to read or to talk in small groups, then this option is not for you.
