Pi Gamma Mu News

new.gif (2881 bytes)There will be a meeting of the Central Committee of Pi Gamma Mu on October 9, 2002 at 5:00 at Pyramid Pizza to discuss important issues concerning the next student-centered activity and a possible Fall membership initiation.

The officers of Pi Gamma Mu have scheduled a number of upcoming events for the Fall 2002 semester. They included an old fashion 1960s style teach in concerning the situation with Iraq. The teach in is tentatively scheduled for October 10, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. The officers of Pi Gamma Mu hope that room 408 PH will be available. If you have any questions, contact either Dr. Lovett, Dr. McCoy, or any of the officers of PGM.

Other events will be announced later, but Dr. Sam Dicks,  may give a talk in November entitled "Early Student Life at Emporia State." The talk will also encompass pictures of various historical sites in and around Emporia and the university campus.

The Officers of Pi Gamma Mu will meet with Dr. Lovett and Dr. McCoy at Pyramid Pizza on Wednesday evening, Sept 4, at 5:00 to plan for upcoming events for the 2002-2003 Academic Year.
