Dr. Christopher C. Lovett (B.A., History and Political Science, The College of Emporia, 1970; M.A., History, Emporia State, 1975; M.L.S, Library Science, Emporia State, 1978; Ph.D., History, Kansas State, 1989). Dr. Lovett was a native of New Jersey and served in Vietnam with the 716th M.P. Battalion. He currently lives in Topeka, KS while teaching at Emporia State. On weekends, he serves as CW 3 attached to the 35 ID (M) Headquarters at Fort Leavenworth, KS. Teaching Career: Kansas State University (1985-87); University of Iowa (1988-92); Emporia State University (Spring 1989); Fort Hays State University (1992-95). Teaching Fields: Military History, World War I, World II, Modern Europe, Russia and Soviet Union, Modern Middle East, 20th Century Europe, Germany, France, Vietnam, Modern Civilization, and the Holocaust.
